RIDE - Helmet cam onboard the MV Agusta F3 800 at Road America. PS4 gameplay. (TV camera replay follows live race footage in the second half of the video).
There are not that many helmet or first person cam motorcycle racing gameplay videos, probably due to the fact that learning to race like this takes some time and effort and most players find it preferable to use the chase cam views in games like RIDE or MotoGP as it is so much easier. However, in doing so, they are also missing out on a lot of what these games have to offer.
Having started to play RIDE again recently in its PS4 incarnation, I decided it was time to start racing with the on bike camera view and/or helmet cam again. Whilst it makes any motorcycle racing game a lot tougher, it also makes for some much more immersive, satisfying and exciting gameplay. It is also, in my opinion, far more difficult than cockpit cam racing in car driving games/sims and even more intense at times.
I admit that this may not have been the tidiest bit of riding but for my first attempt after several months I was reasonably happy with the result despite a few minor excursions onto the grass!
I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed the racing and please like and subscribe for more racing gameplay on two and four wheels.
